Position Description: The Clinical Staff Pharmacist II provides pharmaceutical care to patients of all ages by reviewing medication orders, preparing, dispensing, documenting, monitoring, counseling, and conducting medication reconciliation. Collaborating with patients, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals, this role ensures safe, effective, and patient-centered care while managing costs. The pharmacist interprets, reviews, and processes medication orders, intervenes as needed, and works with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. This role also involves mentoring junior staff, precepting pharmacy and technician students, and participating in educational and staff development initiatives. The pharmacist contributes to performance improvement projects, drug use evaluations, formulary reviews, and research activities. The estimated pay range is $55.52 - $72.18 per hour, depending on experience. Qualifications: Degree: Bachelor of Science required; Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) preferred. Licenses & Certifications: Registered Pharmacist. Additional Qualifications: Progressive pharmaceutical care experience or Pharmacy Residency preferred; Board of Pharmacy Specialty certification preferred; PGY1=3 years, PGY2=2 years.
