Job Summary This role supports the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring safety and sanitation, and preparing meals according to corporate standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist in ensuring compliance with sanitation, safety, and operational standards Train and motivate back-of-house staff to meet customer and client expectations Ensure high-quality, creatively presented, and cost-effective food items Participate in planning, ordering, inventory, and food prep Support cost control and expenditure management Implement new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: B.S. in Culinary Arts, Food Services Management, or related; or A.O.S. with additional training 3-5 years of relevant culinary experience Proficiency in various kitchen stations and positions Ability to adapt quickly, create, and serve on the fly Knowledge of food cost management and quality standards Excellent communication and customer service skills ServSafe, HACCP, or similar sanitation certification Knowledge of current culinary trends and presentation skills preferred Apply to Compass Group today!
