Job Description
We have an outstanding Contract position for aFAA Assembly Mechanicto join a leading Company located in theKingman, AZsurrounding area.
We are seeking a mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Mechanical Technician within an FAA-regulated environment. This role involves the construction, maintenance, testing, and repair of mechanical equipment and components, with a focus on aircraft wheel and brake systems.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Perform teardown, inspection, repair, and overhaul of aircraft wheels and brakes.
+ Identify worn or defective parts and determine appropriate replacements.
+ Operate hand tools and powered industrial equipment safely and effectively.
+ Follow detailed work instructions and established procedures to ensure compliance with FAA regulations.
+ Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
+ Collaborate with team members and report to a supervisor or manager.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
+ 0-2 years of experience in a mechanical or related field.
+ Mechanical aptitude is essential; prior experience in automotive repair or similar industries is a plus.
+ Experience using hand tools is required.
+ Military mechanical experience is highly valued.
+ Apprenticeship or formal training in a mechanical specialty is a plus.
+ This is a general mechanical position; prior aircraft experience is not required.
+ Candidates must demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and adhere to safety and quality standards.
+ The selected candidate will work in the wheel line or brake line department.
