Job Description

Our company is seeking a reliable and hard-working general laborer to join our team. We are a well-established scrap metal recycling company with over 75 years of operational history. As a valued team member, you will play a vital role in our daily operations.

• Load, unload, and sort materials into designated areas within the warehouse.
• Operate machinery, such as forklifts and skid loaders. Training is provided.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform various manual labor tasks throughout the day, both indoors and outdoors.
• Customer assistance to help unload and purchase metals.

Requirements include:

• Must have the ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Strong work ethic and willingness to get dirty.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small but mighty team.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.
• Communication with customers and team members to ensure effective coordination of daily operations.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Preferred but not required, some knowledge of Scrap Metal.
• Must be able to interact with customers and vendors in a friendly and courteous manner.

Benefits Include:

• $20-$23 per hour. (negotiable based on previous experience and/or references).
• Regular Monday-Friday hours. Occasional Saturdays (Morning only).
• Paid weekly.
• Consistent shifts. 
• Full-time. 40 hours per week.
• Overtime opportunities available.
