Our client, a leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Grinder to join their team. As a Grinder, you will be part of the production team supporting quality assurance and product excellence. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Grinder

Location: Freeburg, IL

Pay Range: $21/hr

What's the Job?

• Perform a variety of jobs fitting together manufactured and purchased parts into subassemblies or complete products.
• Read and understand blueprints and routing to produce parts to the required specifications.
• Operate machinery, including polishing and grinding equipment, to grind metal workpieces to prescribed specifications.
• Provide quality control by inspecting workpieces and removing any defective pieces.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while performing routine maintenance on equipment.

What's Needed?

• No prior experience required; a willingness to learn is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
