About the Opportunity: About the Opportunity:•Job Title:Medical Device Assembly•Pay Rate Range:$20.50/Hour•Location:Forest Lake, MN•Schedule:3rd Shift, M-F, 11:15pm - 7:15am.•Position Type:Temp to HireRequirements and Qualifications:Minimum 1 year experience in plastic injection molding preferred.Preferred High School diploma/GED or equivalent experienceThe ability to run one or more jobs at the same time while completing them on time; professional communication between coworkers and other departmentsBasic understanding of scales and other required measuring equipmentKnowledge of a variety of secondary operations equipmentUnderstanding blueprint readingAbility to be able to perform daily tasks safely.Ability to work independently with limited supervisionWalking is required within the office/shop areas.Sitting, standing, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending and flexing the arms, legs, wrists, and fingers are physical requirements.Must have correctable eyesight and good depth perception.Must be able to stand for long periods of time.Must be able to walk, sit and occasionally climb and balance.Must be able to lift 50 pounds and move objects in a safe manner using proper equipment.Must have dexterity with hands.Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them within a timely mannerAbility to make decisions with limited informationAbility to work under a high stress level while meeting customer needsAssembly Duties and Responsibilities:Perform basic sorting procedures and assembly work using secondary operations equipment including pad printers and sonic welders.Inspect and document parts per the Inspection instructions.Performs trimming work requiring knives or cutters; assists in assembly and hand painting.Read and understand all information contained in the Manufacturing Instruction Manual, including but not limited to inspection instructions, bill of materials, certificate of workmanship and work instructionsMaintains a clean and orderly work environmentWorks cooperatively with all employeesAssemble lifesaving and life-improving components and devicesCheck components for defects to ensure they meet standardsCut and trim by handUse small hand tools in assembly processOperating machine and assembling productsPerforming repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of timeOther tasks as assigned by supervisorDiscover Award Staffing:At Award Staffing, we believe that work should be more than just a paycheck-it should inspire, empower, and create a sense of purpose.
