POSITION:

Physical Education Teacher

• High School

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Physical Education & Health (MB & MA or MX)
• Configuration subject to change pending enrollment and staff availability.
• Must meet MCL 380.1531 & Administrative Rules Governing the Certification of MI Teachers

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education and/or Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable

DUTIES:

• Provide effective classroom instruction aligned with Lincoln Park Public Schools' curriculum and the State Benchmarks
• Utilize research-based instructional techniques to support student learning
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
• Maintain accurate student records and complete required documentation in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader school community
• Work cooperatively with staff, administration, and community stakeholders
• Follow directives and expectations set by supervisors and school leadership
• Meet the physical and mental demands of the teaching profession and this specific position
• Uphold and support the educational philosophy of Lincoln Park Public Schools.
