PRACTICE SPECIFICS
We are looking for a patient-centered Endocrinologist to join our team of 5 Physicians (including 1 Pediatric Endocrinologist), 5 NP/PAs and 18 additional staff .
Great position for work/life balance .
Call: rotation including weekends; coverage includes i npatient diabet es care . We will openly discuss this as part of the interview process .
Inpatient coverage at Essentia Health- St. Mary’s Medical Center, a 344-bed tertiary care hospital, Level I Adult Trauma Center -or- Essentia Health-Duluth, a 165-bed hospital – both located on the same connected campus .
Call is in effect for providers during office business hours only and triaged through our RN team first. An NP/PA team covers all hospital glucose management .
C apability to apply and analyze latest diabetes related devices includi ng pumps, sensors , and meters .
Primarily outpatient practice : Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Some outreach p ossible .
No evening, weekend, or holiday call.
Patient volume/day: 10-12 .
REQUIREMENTS
BC/BE in Endocrinology , or
BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with a strong interest in Diabetes care.

COMPENSATION
$309,000 for BC/BE Endocrinologist . Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
