Job Description Roofing Estimator - Birmingham\n\nAs a Roofing Estimator, you will play a critical role in the success of a succesful and growing business by preparing precise cost estimates for roofing projects, working closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Review project plans, specifications, and site conditions to develop accurate estimates\n\n * \n\n Perform site visits to assess and measure roof structures as needed\n\n * \n\n Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs\n\n * \n\n Prepare and present detailed quotes and proposals to clients\n\n * \n\n Collaborate with project managers and sales team to align estimates with client expectations and project goals\n\n * \n\n Source and liaise with suppliers to obtain the most competitive pricing\n\n * \n\n Maintain up-to-date knowledge of materials, techniques, and industry standards\n\nQualifications:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as a roofing estimator or in a similar construction estimating role\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of roofing systems and construction processes\n\n * \n\n Excellent math and analytical skills\n\n * \n\n Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite\n\n * \n\n Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications\n\n * \n\n Strong communication and negotiation skills\n\n * \n\n Attention to detail and organisational abilities\n\n * \n\n Valid driver’s license\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary upto £60,000\n\n * \n\n Holidays allowance + bank holdidays ZipRecruiter
