SEO Specialist Urbandale, IA (hybrid) Pella is seeking a strategic, data-driven, and curious SEO specialist to lead and scale our organic search strategy. This role will partner with internal and external stakeholders to manage and deliver cutting edge digital experiences. As an SEO Specialist, this position will be responsible for driving the development and execution of comprehensive SEO strategies, enhancing visibility and performance across location-specific and national pages. This position will require in-depth understanding of SEO strategies, knowledge of multiple SEO analytic and tracking tools, and experience in creating reports to share with team members and senior leadership. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Execution Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO roadmap covering technical, content, and local SEO. Support content strategy through keyword targeting, internal linking, and scalable optimization frameworks. Set and track SEO performance goals in partnership with the Web Strategy Manager. Collaborate with internal and external partners to execute keyword research, competitive analysis, and content initiatives. Measurement & Optimization Monitor local and national share-of-voice (SOV) performance. Use SEO tools and analytics platforms to generate reports and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders. Lead SEO testing and experimentation (e.g., title tags, meta descriptions, CTR, copy variants) for continuous improvement. Search Landscape & Governance Stay current on algorithm updates, emerging technologies, and industry trends, including AI impacts. Develop and enforce SEO governance, standards, and documentation. Identify opportunities to automate SEO workflows and scale insights. Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) required. 5+ years of hands‑on SEO experience with a proven track record of driving growth. Expertise in on‑page, off‑page, technical SEO, and content marketing best practices. Proficiency with tools like BrightEdge, Google Search Console, and GA4. Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., Contentstack, Strapi) and basic HTML / CSS / JavaScript. Understanding of content strategy and editorial workflows. Experience with Agile project management methodologies. Strong collaboration, presentation, and reporting skills, including executive communication.
