You will lead the Spa Attendant department and partner with the Aquatic Facility Manager to maintain water quality and brand standards. Tasks & Responsibilities Lead and supervise the spa attendant and cleaning teams. Collaborate with the General Manager and Aquatic Facilities Manager to improve cleanliness and maintenance standards. Direct cleaning operations across all spa areas. Maintain visible presence in daily operations to support quality guest impressions. Develop and manage the department budget. Oversee performance reviews, scheduling, payroll, forecasting, and inventory management. Ensure productivity goals, cost and labor efficiency. Recruit, train, and mentor staff. Provide training, coaching, and feedback for continuous development. Resolve guest issues and complaints effectively. Champion safety protocols and compliance. Assist with recruitment, financial reviews, expense tracking, and other fiscal activities. Implement deep cleaning practices. Lead by example with hands‑on spa cleanliness duties. Perform additional duties as assigned. Education & Experience 3–5 years experience leading a housekeeping/cleaning department. Preference for hotel, hospitality, or aquatic industry experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong team‑player and self‑starter. Ability to train, coach, and develop associates. Proficient with Windows, PMS, and MS Office applications. Working Conditions This position may involve long days and weekends to meet business demands. Work is conducted in a fast‑paced environment with frequent interactions with employees, guests, and stakeholders. Outdoor work in mountain weather conditions with temperatures ranging from -30 C (-22 F) to +30 C (+86 F). Physical Demands Reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift and move between 10–25 pounds regularly. Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. May require functional capacity testing. Work Environment Typical noise level is moderate.
