Overview Join to apply for the Sports Reporter/Anchor/Producer role at Sinclair Inc. KUTV/KMYU/KJZZ in Salt Lake City has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Sports Reporter/Anchor/Producer. The station is a CBS Television affiliate owned by Sinclair Broadcasting Group, Inc., part of one of the largest and most diversified broadcasting companies in the U.S. We are an aggressive market leader in sports with multiple live broadcasts and several team-related sports programs. We cover sports at all levels in Utah, including college and professional teams, with live and on-demand content across broadcast and digital platforms. Responsibilities Multimedia content creation, including scriptwriting and on-air delivery. Maintain a strong social media presence to engage with the audience and generate original story ideas. Collaborate with the news team to ensure comprehensive sports coverage. Manage multiple projects at a fast pace with tight deadlines; may require irregular hours, including evenings and weekends. Participate in live sports broadcasts and contribute to various Talkin Sports programs. Skills and Experience Extensive digital experience. A self-starter who can generate story ideas daily. Enterprise reporting and creativity in storytelling. Exemplary written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in multimedia content creation. Excellent on-air presence and delivery. Knowledge of social media and digital content strategy. Requirements and Qualifications Previous reporting, anchoring, and producing experience is required. At least two years of on-air experience. Live reporting experience is required. Experience working in a team environment is a must. Ability to shoot stories, highlights, and interviews as needed.
