Director/Pastor of Small Groups: Storyhill Church, Inc. Job Description: The Director (Pastor, if EPC ordained) of Small Groups is the primary champion of our church’s Foundational Practice of “Grow Together”—helping adults at Storyhill connect to Jesus-centered community throughout the week in smaller settings. Storyhill believes that whether a person is cautious about Jesus, curious about Jesus, or committed to Jesus, taking the next step of spiritual growth is inextricably linked to meeting regularly with a group of others to study the Bible together, pray together, and share the joys and sorrows of life together. We are looking for someone who can build upon our existing strategy of community and spiritual growth, which involves oversight of Community Groups and Bible Studies, seasonal Courses/Studies, and our Ministry to Women and Ministry to Men. Position Qualifications: Evidence of an abiding and fruitful relationship with Jesus Christ. Leadership experience in a vibrant church. Highly relational, collaborative, and team-oriented. Record of effectively leading teams and developing congregational/lay leaders. A history of creating community environments that help people develop spiritually. Added Benefits: Counseling background; M.Div. or comparable degree; ordained or ordainable in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC); preaching ability; previous exposure to Storyhill Church; and knowledge of the church’s culture and heart for Christian Spiritual Formation.
