We are looking for a Fleet Mechanic / Shop Manager to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Perform and/or oversee scheduled maintenance on trucks (diesel and gas) and equipment
• Perform basic small engine repairs
• Perform basic truck repairs (including, but not limited to: brakes, brake lines, etc.)
• Perform basic plow repairs (including, but not limited to: hoses, wiring, etc.)
• Create maintenance schedules for trucks and equipment
• Maintain maintenance records for equipment
• Manage parts inventory for trucks and equipment (including, but not limited to: filters, blades, oil, etc.)
• Maintain and ensure all tools and equipment have met Company Safety Standards, and are ready for daily operations as needed by each Crew
• Maintain inventory summary logs and SDS's for shop supplies
• Maintain and equip shop with necessary tools and supplies
• Keep workspaces and areas neat and organized
• Assist with general housekeeping duties in the work area(s) as needed
• Assist other departments of the company in areas such as snow removal and lawn maintenance as needed/necessary (note: winter will involve being on call for snow removal/repairs as well as some snow removal responsibilities)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED
• Experience with gas and diesel equipment and vehicles
• Shop Maintenance Experience
• Heavy Equipment Operations and/or Snow Removal Experience
• Valid Driver's License (Unrestricted/Good Driving Record)
• Proven Mechanical Aptitude
• CDL A or B with Air Brake Endorsement (preferred but not required)
• Clean Drug Screening
• Clear Background Check
