Our legal team is expanding, and we are excited to welcome experienced Paralegal professionals with expertise in Labor Condition Applications (LCA) and U.S. Specialty Occupation Visa Programs to support our growing Employment-Based Nonimmigrant Visa practice. The role focuses on H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, EB-2, and EB-3 visa categories.

Location : Preferably On-site based in Alexandria, VA, Orlando, Florida, in the United States

Position:

We seek a highly organized, detail-oriented Paralegal with specialized experience in U.S. employment-based nonimmigrant visas. This position plays a vital role in preparing and managing Labor Condition Applications (LCA) and supporting visa petitions under the H-1B, H-1B1 (Chile and Singapore), E-3 (Australia), EB-2 Sponsors, and EB-3. You will work under the supervision of licensed attorneys and immigration specialists to ensure all documentation complies with U.S. Department of Labor and USCIS regulations. This legal support position requires proven experience with prevailing wage analysis, electronic filings via the FLAG system, and coordination of complex employment-based immigration petitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file Labor Condition Applications (LCAs) through the Department of Labor’s FLAG system for H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 cases.
  • Conduct wage research and determine prevailing wage levels in accordance with DOL guidance.
  • Draft, review, and submit Form ETA-9035/9035E and assist with public access file (PAF) compliance.
  • Support attorneys in assembling and reviewing complete visa petition packages (including Form I-129) for USCIS submission.
  • Monitor and track application status, visa caps, LCA validity periods, and certification dates.
  • Maintain organized and confidential client records in compliance with internal legal protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, HR teams, and governmental agencies.
  • Stay current on updates to H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, EB-2 Sponsor, EB-3 policies and regulatory changes affecting the LCA process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in U.S. immigration law, specifically LCA and H-1B/H-1B1/E-3 petition preparation.
  • Fluent English; strong writing and legal documentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of the Department of Labor FLAG system and LCA compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and strict deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Professional discretion in handling sensitive client and corporate information.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with public access file (PAF) preparation and DOL audit processes.
  • Experience coordinating with HR departments for LCA data collection and documentation.
  • Knowledge of employment classifications and prevailing wage levels.
  • Proficiency in immigration case management systems.
  • Additional language skills (Portuguese, Spanish) are considered a plus.
